Drip Irrigation Interval Calculator

Drip Irrigation Interval Formula

Drip Irrigation Interval:

\[ Ii = \frac{Id \cdot TR \cdot EU}{100 \cdot T} \]

Where:

  • \(Ii\) is the irrigation interval in days.
  • \(Id\) is the gross depth of irrigation in millimeters (mm).
  • \(TR\) is the ratio of transpiration to application, typically 0.9.
  • \(EU\) is the emission uniformity in percentage (%).
  • \(T\) is calculated as \(ET \cdot \min \left( \frac{PS}{85} \right)\).
  • \(ET\) is the conventionally accepted consumptive use rate of the crop in millimeters per day (mm/day).
  • \(PS\) is the area of the crop as a percentage of the total area (%).
