Heat Supplied to the Dryer Calculator
Heat Supplied Formula
Heat Supplied (\( Qsd \)):
\[ Qsd = \frac{60 \times (H2 - H1) \times AR}{\gamma} \]
Where:
- \( Qsd \) is the heat supplied to the dryer, in kilojoules per hour (KJ/hr).
- \( H2 \) is the enthalpy of the drying air, in kilojoules per kilogram of dry air (KJ/kg da).
- \( H1 \) is the enthalpy of the ambient air, in kilojoules per kilogram of dry air (KJ/kg da).
- \( AR \) is the airflow rate, in cubic meters per minute (m³/min).
- \( \gamma \) is the specific volume, in cubic meters per kilogram of dry air (m³/kg da).
