Horsepower (\( HP \)) can be calculated using either of the following formulas:

1. \( HP = \frac{T \times N}{63025} \)

2. \( HP = \frac{F \times V}{33000} \)

Where:

• \( HP \) is the horsepower transmitted, in hp.
• \( T \) is the torque, in inch-pounds (in-lb).
• \( N \) is the shaft speed, in revolutions per minute (rpm).
• \( F \) is the force, in pounds (lb).
• \( V \) is the velocity, in feet per minute (ft/min).
