• \( V_g \) is the gross amount of water applied per irrigation, in mm.
• \( T_{sp} \) is the time of sprinkling, in hours.
• \( Q \) is the sprinkler discharge, in m³/hr.
• \( S_m \) is the sprinkler spacing between adjacent laterals, in meters.
• \( S_l \) is the sprinkler spacing along laterals, in meters.
