Unit Border Stream Size Calculator
Unit Border Stream Size Formula
Unit Stream Size (\( Q_u = \frac{1}{E_a} \left[ \frac{t_{cr}}{t_{tcr} - t_r} \right] \left[ \frac{D}{7.2 t_{cr}} \right] \)):
Where:
- \( Q_u \) is the unit stream size, in cubic feet per second (ft³/sec).
- \( E_a \) is the water application efficiency, expressed as a decimal (1.0 - P, where P is the percolation loss in decimal).
- \( t_{cr} \) is the time in minutes required for infiltration of \( D \) inches of water.
- \( t_{tcr} \) is the total time of flow, in minutes.
- \( t_r \) is the recession lag time, in minutes.
- \( D \) is the depth of water, in inches.
