Water Yield of Wells Calculator
Water Yield of Wells Formula
Water Yield (\( Q = \frac{\pi K (H^2 - h^2)}{\log_e \frac{R}{r}} \)):
Where:
- \( Q \) is the rate of flow, in cubic feet per day (ft³/day).
- \( K \) is the hydraulic conductivity.
- \( H \) is the height of the static water level above the bottom of the water-bearing formation, in feet (ft).
- \( h \) is the height of the water level at the well measured from the water-bearing formation, in feet (ft).
- \( R \) is the radius of influence, in feet (ft).
- \( r \) is the radius of the well, in feet (ft).
